Queer music makers come together at the 'Queers in Music' industry get-together as part of the Queer Music Festival - whether on stage, in the studio or in the office, every music-related creative field is welcome. In cooperation with the BPM - Office for Pop Culture and Music Saxony, the get-together opens up a space for exchange, networking and solidarity. A panel talk will kick things off and build on last year's discussions: How does the current shift to the right affect marginalized artists? What can cultural and art workers do to counter this - beyond competition, towards genuine, powerful alliances? How does practical solidarity work among queer artists and their allies, and how can the gap between political utopian music and real social conditions be closed - or at least endured? Afterwards, the event will continue in open formats: listen, connect, get active. #QueersSupportQueers
