QUEER MUSIC FESTIVAL 2026

In the organizer's words:

The 'Queer Music Festival' confidently and unmissably puts the spotlight on queer voices, perspectives and, above all, music. For four days - from April 23 to 26, 2026 - Leipzig will become a vibrant stage for concerts, films, artist talks, workshops and club nights. Pop meets rap, electronic sounds meet indie, intimate solo moments meet collective club nights - the program ranges from quiet, personal stories to room-filling euphoria. The focus is always on musicians who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans or non-binary - and whose artistic positions are still too often overlooked.

As the organizer, heart and driving force behind the festival, Zacker creates a platform where queer art is lived and celebrated as a matter of course. Especially at a time when social acceptance is becoming more fragile and queer identity is increasingly under pressure, he sees the festival as a safe haven for the LGBTQ* community: a clear statement, a place of empowerment and an impulse for social dialog that builds bridges.

Visibility is not a luxury, but a necessity. The 'Queer Music Festival' sends a powerful signal here: We are here, we are here to stay, we are loud!
