In Westend , Volker Kutscher now reveals this secret - in terms of time, the text forms the keystone of the entire series: Westend is set in Berlin in the 1970s. A historian - Hans Singer - visits Gereon Rath, who has grown old in the meantime, at his retirement home in Berlin-Westend .
