💜A new summer, a new Zine Fest💚
This time with the motto: More is more!
Get ready for a whole weekend of CakesnZines! On September 6 and 7, we want to organize a non-commercial and queer-feminist zine festival with you again with everything that goes with it: zine & art market, workshops, networking, creative program, delicious food and of course lots of cake!
Political content revolving around the topics of queer feminism, anti-discrimination, anti-colonialism and other left-wing contexts is important to us. We particularly want to offer a space for marginalized artists and focus on TINFLA*, BIPoC and/or disabled perspectives. Especially in times of war and genocide, all artistic formats that deal with grief, anger, loss, but also hope, rebellion and resistance are welcome.
All proceeds from the festival will go to Palestinian mutual aid funds and struggles for the right to stay.
Time: Sat: 15-22h & Sun: 12-18h
Location: StadtWERKSTATT Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg on the Dragonerareal/Rathausblock, Obentrautstraße 19-21, 10963 Berlin, behind the Kreuzberg tax office on Mehringdamm
Barrier info: Room is at ground level, access without steps, 1 wheelchair-accessible porta-potty
Please come Covid tested and stay at home if you have cold symptoms. There will also be free tests and FFP2 masks at the entrance.
