Carmen - Oper nach Georges Bizet

The opera classic Carmen in a version for 4 singers, a narrator and a virtuoso pianist, as well as with additional German dialog - freely adapted from Georges Bizet, performed by the RheinlandOper ensemble.
Carmen as an opera snack is a reduction to the essentials of the world-famous opera by Georges Bizet. We show the fateful encounter between the soldier Don José and the irrepressible Carmen. There is also a real bullfighter and the enchanting girl Micaëla. And again and again, Death comes into play - he will hold the strings in his hands, peppered with plenty of humor, and perhaps even fall in love himself in the end...

The ensemble of the RheinlandOpera sings at various opera houses in Europe and will accompany you through the story of Carmen. This is how opera should be: Up close, touchable, beautiful to laugh and cry to!
