Cats & Breakkies: organic electro with soul

Emerging from Berlin's club culture, Cats & Break kies create a sound that dissolves the boundaries between electronic rave energy and artistic live performance. In rooms where DJs usually dominate the action, they bring pure musical presence and transform the space into a shared emotional and physical experience. Machine and human, analog warmth and digital precision merge into live shows that feel like a pulsating, breathing dancefloor creature. In March, they will continue their journey with a new album: the next chapter of a sound that not only wants to be heard, but physically experienced. On the tour for the album, they will also be stopping by at Gretchen.

Their music moves between electro, house, art rock, krautrock, fusion and jazz and invites you to either lose yourself in sonic details or simply surrender to the groove. Beats develop over long distances and the audience moves in a shared flow. Trance-inducing club energy as we know it from Berlin or New York, only livelier, more expressive, more immediate.

In 2015, Cats & Breakkies presented their debut album Organic Electro at the Kantine am Berghain. As an instrumental concept album, it marked their first major artistic milestone, received an enthusiastic response and expanded their fanbase in Germany and Europe. Her second album Spectral (2018) deepened her sound concept and includes three independent instrumental sets. 2024 saw the release of her fully self-produced album New World, presented on her intensive record release tour 2024/2025, followed by a series of singles and remixes. On March 20, 2026 their new live album will be released to kick off their tour.
