ClubJazz: Paul Scheugenpflug Quartett

With his compositions, Paul Scheugenpflug manages a balancing act between catchy melodies and energetic jazz improvisation. The focus is on a varied and groove-based jazz program with influences from fusion, hip-hop and pop. The young saxophonist has already received numerous awards.
He recently recorded his debut album and says: "'Who am I' is a mirror of my time - a sound of curiosity, hope and new beginnings. Between jazz, hip-hop and pop, I explore what it means to be real in a world that is constantly changing. Each track tells a piece of my search - sometimes quiet, sometimes restless, always honest. This album is for anyone who knows what it's like to be lost, inspired or simply fulfilled. No rules. No boundaries. Just sound, feeling and identity. This is my sound. This is 'Who I am'".
