The eight-piece band from Frankfurt am Main celebrates the joy of playing in a new line-up(!) with sophisticated, driving rhythms and colorful harmonies:
Groove in multi-color!
Feel the space. Melting time. Swinging in the air, shaking on the ground, sticking together and - somewhere in the thickest branches a parrot screeches colorfully.
The alternation of elaborate arrangements, energetic improvisation, shimmering soundscapes, melodies - as if always known - and pulse, pulse again and again carries the outside to the grave, dancing and only for a moment, and celebrates the new again and again and again.
Not really jazz, not funk, not soul, not world, not afro, not urban or rural either: Ramatou invites you to the tribal festival of world society, the dance of death to everyday events, the little rite of disorder, the carnival of things.
