Community-Picknick • Kulturstadt Hannover, DJ Kollektiv Prototype

In the organizer's words:

To mark the end of the KunstFestSpiele 2026 festival, we are inviting you to a top-class picnic event at the festival center together with Kulturstadt Hannover and the What's happening event platform. The hallmark of the community picnic is what is believed to be Hanover's largest picnic blanket. It will be spread out on the meadow of the festival center as an open invitation to let the festival come to a relaxed end! Cocktails, coffee and all kinds of delicacies from the freitagsküche will be provided. The DJ collective Prototype will provide appropriate sound and it is not out of the question that the picnic blanket will also serve as a dance floor. Fill the baskets, bring your friends and let's chill, dance and party together into the day and out of the festival. We'll be back, no question!

ACCESSIBILITY

The festival center is accessible via a ramp, a wooden floor serves as a base. Barrier-free toilets are located at the Grosser Garten ticket office.
