Sunrise in the Herrenhausen Gardens - at 5:00 a.m., the gardens open for a special morning ritual. At the invitation of the KunstFestSpiele, Hanover's Fuchsbau Festival, which presents forward-looking music, art and debates by young artists every year, explores how man and machine can work together productively in the early hours of the morning. What could a post-digital future look like that is not determined by digital sales and the power of autonomous AI systems?

The installation BODIES AND SUBWOOFERS (B.A.S.) kicks off the morning at sunrise with a vibrating experience between sound, body and environment. Afterwards, the Italian performance collective Fronte Vacuo invites the audience to move through the Herrenhausen Gardens with Humane Methods [MμRMUR] to unfold a quiet, ritualistic search for posthuman empathy.

The subsequent breakfast in the freitagsküche offers a moment to pause, share the experience and connect with one another. The morning will conclude with a special musical interplay: DJ Kikelomo and the A Song For You Choir from Berlin will interweave electronic sounds and choral singing to create an ecstatic experience that will send the audience off into the day full of energy.

ACCESSIBILITY

Access to the Great Garden is barrier-free to a limited extent: access to the garden is at ground level, the paths in the garden are on gravel. Please note that a walking performance will take place as part of the post-digital morning ritual, during which a further distance of approx. 2 km will be covered on gravel paths. Three wheelchairs, which can be borrowed if required, are available at the ticket offices of the Palace Museum for events taking place in the Great Garden. Please make sure you wear weatherproof clothing and sturdy shoes when visiting the Great Garden.
