CULTURAL MOVES | mit Caroline Simon

Our culture and its heritage is (partly) inscribed in our bodies, our cells and our habits. How do culture, origin and social spaces shape our movements, attitudes and inner structures? The workshop Cultural Moves invites you to consciously perceive and experience culturally imprinted movement patterns and forms of expression. Through physical exploration, observation and lots of exchange, we will examine how individual and collective stories are revealed in the body. Joint improvisations and small group compositions create spaces for dialog, resonance and new perspectives. The workshop is aimed at anyone who is interested in the body, movement, culture and encounters - no prior knowledge is required.
