Dança por correio

In the organizer's words:

"Dança por Correio" means "dance by post" in Portuguese. This show features six breakdancers dressed as letter carriers. They run, run, jump and dance through the streets of the city and whizz through public spaces. The audience consists of anyone who follows the group or just happens to be passing by. The sidewalk, store fronts, street lamps and signs are transformed into a stage (or a playground?).
The audience is invited to choose a letter with texts, poems and tasks. The letters are invitations to the audience to participate and take part in the play.
These letter carriers in their dancing "work shift" share the city with us and invite us to take a closer look at the paths we (perhaps) think we already know. "Dança por Correio" is a package that is delivered through letters, movement and togetherness. And who knows? Maybe there's a letter in it for you!
