Das rollende Sofa mit Ella Carina Werner: „Der Hahn erläutert unentwegt der Henne, wie man Eier legt“ auf dem Baui Tweeltenmoor

As part of the "Das rollende Sofa" series, the ella Kulturhaus and Baui Tweeltenmoor (ISUF) invite you to an evening full of linguistic wit, satire and animal-feminist humor with Ella Carina Werner. The co-editor of the satirical magazine Titanic will read from her poetry collection of "feminist animal poems", in which self-confident, heavily empowered females call the shots - from carousing chickens to man-killing black widows and lazy toads.

Werner takes the animals out of the clichés and turns gender roles upside down with wit and rhyme: "From the cradle to the grave, the lioness wears armpit hair" or "The owl loves herself as she is: anarcho-punk and anti-Christ". In addition, she presents stories from her life as a wife, mother and salon hostess - everyday, wonderfully quirky and packed with punchlines. Topics such as whiskey tastings with crash potential, strange night train acquaintances and flirtations on the Reeperbahn are told with fine powers of observation and great humor.

The venue Baui Tweeltenmoor is animal-supported - an environment that perfectly matches the theme of Werner's "feminist animal poems" and lends the evening a special atmosphere.
