David Lynch Retro: LOST HIGHWAY 35mm (DF)

We are commemorating the director David Lynch, who is so important to us, by showing one of his films every month until the end of the year. We will work our way chronologically through his entire oeuvre. Say goodbye with us!

The disagreements and conflicts surrounding TWIN PEAKS were probably so great that Lynch didn't approach any major projects for five years before making his big comeback with LOST HIGHWAY. Its first act is like a pure nightmare: a musician is sent video recordings in which someone initially films the entrance to his house, but then invades his privacy more deeply with each tape. On the endless street at night, the film then makes a radical U-turn and slips into an intrigue about violence and eroticism, diabolical characters and fluid identities.
