𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 is an American punk/ hardcore band formed in 2019. The band is a brutal sonic bath of sarcasm: a blastbeat-heavy hardcore punk assault that combines crust, thrash and grind elements. Pithy breaks, surreal frequencies and effects, breakneck speed and sharply thrown vocals characterize the band's aesthetic, which seems to be rooted in a kind of ethos of vicious sounds and intellectual messages. Driven by the onslaught of society's madness and driven insane by tinnitus, Justin Pearson, Brian Amalfitano, Scott Osment and Jason Klein look at music as a way to confront our collective maladies. Deaf Club continues its sharp critique of society with its second album, released on Southern Lord and Three One G in 2025 under the title "We Demand a Permanent State of Happiness".
