Lightning McQueen, a red sports car with excessive self-confidence, has a dream: one day he wants to drive a big race to make his breakthrough. But just getting to the race track turns out to be more difficult than initially thought. In the middle of the desert, in a small town called Radiator Springs, the sporty vehicle has to take a forced break. Contrary to expectations, however, he learns a lot about the importance of friendship and family.
