Alfons Kobler is a rascal - he cheats on the sale of an inferior convertible and is now on his way to Barcelona for the World Expo. His goal: to conquer a rich tourist. In their Horváth production, the team led by Sebastian Kreyer, Daniel Breitfelder and Marc FIscher paints a picture of the politically uninvolved philistine, completely focused on his own advantage, who is so devoid of feeling and morals that his personal attitude becomes the ideal breeding ground for fascist ideas. Brand-new, threatening and highly comical. Funny? At least for now.
