Lost

In the organizer's words:

In a supposedly free, democratic society, three women move through a system that promises participation and at the same time produces exclusion. Amineh 1 is considered professionally successful and conforms to social expectations. But her decisions are characterized by silent concessions that usually remain invisible. Amineh 2 is on the run from a repressive regime and finds no space here, none of the help to which she would be entitled. Amineh 3 tries to find her own way between external attribution and inner desire and fails in the face of violent forms of censorship.

Together they flounder in a Kafkaesque world in which rules are asserted but never explained - and in which power is always celebrated. Their experiences of being lost and failing are condensed into a female perspective on a dysfunctional social system in which freedom becomes an empty formula.
