In the organizer's words:

An old circus wagon creaks softly as it rolls into the light. It whirs, purrs, jingles - until a wall opens up and reveals a figure: dark, shrill, mysterious. She is him. He is her. It is: the fabulous Die. The centerpiece of a troupe of showmen who travel around, collecting stories and now presenting them - of being the same, of being different. Curtain up for the duck who feels like a swan, the perch Bärbel and the strongest man in the world with a penchant for blonde curly wigs.

In his play, Sergej Gößner turns binary gender identity on its head, creates a world of funfair and revue - and writes, how could it be otherwise, in rhyme.
