DER GERÄUSCHEHÄNDLER // by Toboso / based on the book by Kathrin Rohmann (from 5 years)
A play with text and sound that sensitizes children to their own auditory perception and invites them to discover the world with alert ears.
The sound dealer specializes in particularly sonorous wishes. His customers are as unusual as his small store: the street lamp is too quiet at night - it longs for the noise of the bright city. A circus troupe is looking for a roaring sound cannon and a little ghost just hasn't found the right sound for the witching hour... No problem for the sound dealer!
With inventive wit and poetry, the sound dealer takes the audience into his store. Here, countless jars and boxes, tins, boxes and bottles are filled with sounds for every occasion. Depending on the customer's wishes, the retailer selects suitable sounds from this collection and puts them together to create an atmospheric sound collage.
A special highlight: some sounds are missing from the sound dealer's collection. Who better to help out here than the listening children themselves, who complete the collection live and thus become an active part of the story.
