MC RENE is turning 50 and is celebrating not by looking back, but with an evening that is happening right now.

On September 11, the Live Music Hall Cologne will open its doors for "MC RENE - 50 Years & Friends": no classic line-up, no fixed schedule, but open doors, open mics, companions, sounds and encounters that cannot be announced.

What happens happens in the room. That has always been the essence of hip-hop: movement, surprise, connection. Live and unique.

50 years of MC RENE are no cause for nostalgia. They are a starting point.
