Neukölln is shocked: after decades of living a comfortable life as a state-supported precariat icon, Edith Schröder takes a job! Because our Futschiqueen has inherited a food truck in chic Mitte. "If you can charge 18 euros for a mashed avocado on Lidl toast up there, then let's see what I can get for a meatball on a sandwich!" she says to herself and enlists her friends, pub landlady Jutta and neighborhood bitch Biggy, to sell expired sausages, soggy chips and warm beer to the urban clientele.

Wearing cat shirts, leo leggings and shoulder pad blouses, the three dragons face the city center and meet soy latte hipsters, foodie influencers and lost parliamentarians who have no idea what the Neukölln world is all about at their grill. Between gluten-free lentil balls and bockwurst from the sausage specials market, cultures clash: the helicopter parents are up in arms against the smell of fat and "aesthetic nuisance" and blue politicians demand brown sauce instead of curry seasoning. It doesn't help that Biggy then also offers "happy hour with a happy ending" and a widow unexpectedly lays claim to the inheritance.

Here, the Ades Zabel Company's latest Neuköllnical "Drei Drachen vom Grill" (Three Dragons from the Grill) draws a long line from the Super8 films, which were made as a satire on the SFB series with a similar sound, to its current success as modern popular theater on Mehringdamm.
