What's going on in the USA right now? In his new book, historian Bernd Greiner looks back on 100 years of history and shows that the country's past also has extremes.

The guests are:

Bernd Greiner is the founding director and staff member of the "Berliner Kolleg Kalter Krieg / Berlin Center for Cold War Studies". He taught non-European history at the University of Hamburg and headed the "Theory and History of Violence" department at the Hamburg Institute for Social Research until 2014.

Jan Feddersen is taz editor for special assignments and curator of the taz Talks and the taz lab and will moderate this talk.
