Malwida is visited by her subjects blue, red and yellow. Each color is different. Red is spirited, blue is gentle and yellow is warm-hearted. But Malwida soon finds it too wild with red, too quiet with blue, and yellow is quite bitchy. When she has fallen out with all the colors, she realizes that it's pretty sad in a colorless kingdom of queens. Fortunately, the colors are not resentful. The story combines emotions and colors and gets its humor from a bossy ruler who learns that she can't decide everything.
After The Hedgehog in the Mist, this is Lidia Melnikova's second dance production for children at the JUB.
