French Revolution: Marie-Antoinette and her husband King Louis XVI are waiting to be executed in the Palace of Versailles - and have been for 15 years! Reason enough to become impatient and simply make their own guillotine. The only problem is that it doesn't work properly yet and accidentally decapitates one or two people who come to see Marie-Antoinette and Louis. In addition, the people are annoyed from outside because they have no more bread. "If they have no bread, let them eat cake!" thinks Marie-Antoinette in her aloof and naïve way. With bitter humor, this black comedy questions social inequality and takes a critical look at today's political structures.
