Chris Kraus (Göttingen 1963) is an author, screenwriter and filmmaker. His internationally successful films ("Yesterday's Flowers", "Four Minutes" and others) have won seven German film awards. Chris Kraus has written four novels to date. His literary breakthrough, the family epic "Das kalte Blut", has been translated into many languages and became a bestseller in France and Spain. The author lives in Berlin.

Hannah Herzsprung, born in 1981, is known as an actress from numerous films and series. Her first collaboration with Chris Kraus was in 2005, in the award-winning drama "Vier Minuten", in which she won over critics and viewers as Jenny, a piano-talented prison cassette. This production was also her screen debut, for which she received the Bavarian Film Award for "Best Young Actress" in 2007. The sequel "15 Years" followed in 2024. She also appeared in the series "Babylon Berlin" and in international productions such as "The Reader" in the role of the young Liesl Karlstadt. Hannah Herzsprung lives in Berlin.
