16mm Stummfilm Kino

"Harold Lloyd - The Kid Brother" + Live Piano | "Zensational Zelluloid Zings" Extravaganza

After the successful 16mm open-air cinema last summer in the park of Villa Berg, there is now a new project by the Montagegruppe and Filmwinters: for one evening, cinefilm returns to the former Feuerseekino, now the Theater der Altstadt.

In the first part of the evening, film enthusiast Eberhard Nuffer will first show a short film by Laurel & Hardy ("Two Tars", 1928) and then the Harold Lloyd classic "The Kid Brother" from 1927 as the main film. The films will be accompanied by live music from pianist Ulrich Ochmann.

After a short break, it's off into the unknown: Matthias Müller uses several projectors to throw psychedelic moving images onto the screen from Film Winter's extensive film collection, accompanied by music from record entertainer Andreas Vogel - a real "Zensational Zelluloid Zings" extravaganza.
