Climate crisis, authoritarian tendencies, hostility and militarism. In a world that is increasingly coming apart at the seams, Max Czollek focuses on the power of friendship in the fourth season of his discussion series. From journalism to theory and art to pop culture, people everywhere are working together to realize their ideas, projects and political goals. So how important is friendship for coping with the present without losing sight of the question of a better common future?

Following the individual discussions in the first three seasons of the series(Reconciliation Theater, Coping with the Present and The Beginning is Near), Czollek 2026 always invites two personalities who are friends in one way or another, work together or encourage each other in their actions. He discusses with them how important this commonality is in their political and artistic work and what role aspects of emotionality and pop-cultural processing play in addition to joint analysis. This is why the series is called: Discourse. Pop. Love.
