The Berlin band DIVANKO has been playing its way into the hearts of listeners since 2017 with polyphonic vocals, violin, guitar, banjo, ukulele, double bass and all kinds of percussion. In Berlin and the surrounding area, in cafés and clubs, at festivals, in churches and at private parties. The DIVANKOs are particularly fond of the songs of Eastern and South-Eastern Europe with their straight and crooked rhythms. They perform songs and dances from Turkey to Hungary and from Poland to Greece. The songs tell of women and men, old age and youth, pain, farewells, schnapps and wine, love, dance and moonlight and how all this is connected ...
