Dorothy Bird creates music that invites you to dream and immerse yourself. With a touching mix of electronic and acoustic instruments, captivating beats and her clear, melodious voice, she creates atmospheric soundscapes full of poetic depth. Her songs reflect joy, pain, hope and the complexity of life and offer a moment of peace and freedom far away from the chaos of the world. Compared to artists such as Beth Gibbons, Björk and Kate Bush, Dorothy Bird's style nevertheless remains unmistakable and "characteristically individual" - (Neil March, Fresh on the Net). The art-pop singer-songwriter, who lives between Liverpool and Berlin, has been supported by BBC Introducing, Mersey Radio and various magazines and has already released four EPs and her debut album "Belonging". The release of her second album "Whispering Paper" is planned for March 2025.
