In the organizer's words:

The tour introduces the themes and background of the current exhibition Tirailleurs: From Cannon Fodder to Avant-Garde - The Forgotten Soldiers Who Liberated Europe and presents the artists and their works. Led by alternating members of the HKW team and trained art educators, the tour provides lively insights into the details and contexts of the artworks on display. It is also an invitation to conversation - looking at art together encourages an exchange about personal experiences, artistic strategies and social issues.
