EddieS Music Lounge – Live Musik mit Olli ROTH

In the organizer's words:

Olli, singer/songwriter, guitarist and probably what you would call a "working musician"

A professional musician since 1984, in countless bands and projects, he has performed live more than 8,000 times on stages large and small! Some say he is a mixture of Meat Loaf, Willy DeVille and John Hiatt... Growing up with the music of the great American songwriters and influenced by the sound of blues, rock and country music, he began writing his own songs at the tender age of 14.

He cites greats such as Daniel Lanois, Chris Whitley and the Neville Brothers as musical influences. In his own songs, he skillfully blends these individual style elements into a typical version of what he calls his ACOUSTIC-COUNTRY-ROCKING-BLUES. The acoustic guitar and of course his outstanding voice are his trademarks. Emotional ballads, uptempo songs or even stomping swamp grooves.

The main thing is that it's handmade music without too many production bells and whistles - LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING.
