Suddenly the phone rings and life changes from one day to the next. This is also the case for Simone de Beauvoir and her sister when they find out that their mother is in hospital. Simone de Beauvoir gives a poignant and honest account of what it means to say goodbye to the person who gave you your life. Following the success of "(Nicht)Mütter!", actresses Sibylle Canonica, Barbara Horvath and Lisa Stiegler are bringing this personal piece of world literature to the theater stage for the first time.
