In the organizer's words:

With "A journey around the world", Tobias Eichhorn and Jakob Doumbia invite children and families to an interactive, hands-on concert that focuses on singing, moving and experiencing things together. The musical route leads across five continents: from Italy and Spain to North America, Asia, Australia and Africa. The two experienced musicians not only bring songs from a wide variety of cultures to the stage, but also use their versatile skills to create a space in which everyone can become active.

Tobias Eichhorn brings an additional tonal and creative dimension as a guitarist with broad stylistic experience - from classical guitar to jazz, rock and pop. He is also currently touring with his children's music band "Eichhorn und lila Hund".

In addition to well-known movement and participatory songs such as "Come to the morning circle" (North America), typical melodies from Italy and Spain and a travel song, sound games from Asia, an Australian animal canon and movement games from Africa invite the audience to directly experience the diversity of musical expression. The concert thus becomes a lively, musical journey around the world for all the senses.
