With his melancholy songs, which are stylistically steeped in genres such as emo rap, post-punk, goth rock and eighties new wave, EKKSTACY creates a modern sound between alt-pop and indie. The prime example of this sound is "i walk this earth all by myself", which became the Canadian singer's biggest hit to date with over 289 million streams on Spotify and marked his international breakthrough. With his albums "misery" (2022), "EKKSTACY" (2024) and his current album "FOREVER" (2025), the musician confirmed his status and is currently touring Europe on the FOREVER Tour, where he is no longer an unknown quantity. Tours in support of Blink 182 and $uicideboy$ have made EKKSTACY equally well-known in the alternative scene as in contemporary hip-hop, which still makes it difficult to break his music down to one style. It is much more the melancholy, dreamy, ethereal vibe that is omnipresent as a trademark in songs such as "Uncomparable", "then i met her" and "it only gets worse" and which delights his fans worldwide. After an underplay show at the completely sold-out Kantine am Berghain in Berlin, EKKSTACY will be returning to the German capital almost six months later on his FOREVER TOUR. He will be performing at Berlin's Hole44 on November 22.
