ENDLICH

In the organizer's words:

Three Norns sit on the trunk of the world ash tree. There they spin, knot and cut the thread of life, deciding over life and death. In a present in which the end of life has become the greatest social taboo, the struggle to stop physical decay and the ageing process becomes a life task. In their music theater piece "ENDLICH", composer Asia Ahmetjanova and director Franziska Angerer dare to confront the inevitable. Together with a group of older people, they look at their own finiteness and old age with all its attributions. The result is a shared ritual between mythology and performance that confronts the final consequences of life.
