Theodor Wonja Michael was born in 1925 to a Cameroonian father and a German mother.
German mother. He and his siblings lost both parents at an early age and lived in fear from

During the Nazi era, Theodor Wonja Michael was forced to act in racist films and perform forced labor. After 1945, he studied, became a journalist and a contemporary witness.
