Four people suffering from addiction: Depressive Sara Goldfarb (Ellen Burstyn) is not only obsessed with television, but also with fattening treats. In order to escape obesity, the sweet tooth takes countless diet pills, which lead to another addiction. Son Harry (Jared Leto) is unaware of his mother's dramatic change, as he is far too busy with his own drug consumption. Together with his buddy Tyrone (Marlon Wayans) and girlfriend Marion (Jennifer Connelly), Harry increasingly finds himself in an intoxicated world far removed from reality...

"heimkino." is a project with Flugmodus GmbH to create a home for the community of film and cinema lovers in the trendy Ehrenfeld district. As part of this new series, we are bringing classic films and unknown masterpieces back to the big screen every Wednesday. One month is always dedicated to a common overarching theme.
