A mysterious patient is admitted to hospital with a gunshot wound. His life is in danger. The nurse cares for him - and tries to find out his secret. Does she have to seduce him? Or torture him? Or both at the same time?

In any case, she will have to go through all the metamorphoses of pain with him and embark on a crazy odyssey through all the annoyances of the healthcare system: Unreachable doctors, unavailable medication, incomprehensible technical terms, illegible prescriptions, endless waiting times, unaffordable bills, incurable wounds.

Will the patient make it? Do they even want to? Who is he? Who shot him? Will the doctor ever come? Is this place really a real hospital - and is she a real nurse? Can all these questions be solved?

Nothing is clear, nothing is certain, nothing is trivial and yet nothing is entirely serious in this grotesquely enigmatic, realistically surreal delirium full of ludicrous yet highly poetic dialogues that dissect the feeling of pain itself - a lonely yet unifying feeling that we all know, whether it's the pain of love or weltschmerz, Regelschmerz or Phantomschmerz, Lustschmerz or Verlustschmerz.
