A dog is man's best friend. That's what they say. And Akira, a Siberian husky, is very close to his master "Papa Attila". Attila took him out of the shelter as a puppy and comforted him, as he knows exactly how it feels to finally be "freed" from a home. He was also adopted 41 years ago and was given the name Attila Klaus Peter Hildmann. From now on, nothing can separate them. Akira has been given a home by dad Attila, food three times a day, they go for long walks together and cuddle to sleep. Akira was there when his dad became famous with vegan cookbooks, made millions with them and opened his vegan snack bars. Akira is also vegan, although he dreams of bloody steaks at night.
When one day he witnesses Attila attaching the Reichskrieg flag to his Porsche, driving in front of the Altes Museum and starting to glorify Hitler in front of a crowd, he is shocked and anything but proud of his master.
Akira is a very educated dog, he knows a lot about history. And he doesn't understand how someone who is so loving towards him can shout such nonsense. Akira finds himself in a dilemma: how far can a dog's loyalty go? Akira would love to argue with his master and explain to him that he is on the wrong track. But apart from a "woof, woof", nothing would come out of his snout.
So he turns his question to the audience, to whom he can miraculously speak. And this question is a tough one.

How do you counter the creeping radicalization of your nearest and dearest? How do you bridge the gap? How do you speak when the other person no longer seems accessible? The authors Noëlle Haeseling and Leo Meier's idea of making Attila Hildmann's dog the key witness to his master's drift into conspiracy ideology and far-right activism is intelligent and humorous, as the dog simply refuses to accept this development despite his inherent canine devotion.
