Exit Music - The Dark Indie Society

Exit Music- The Dark Indie Society is dedicated to cross-style, sophisticated and danceable dark indie music. The project sees itself as a platform for musical diversity beyond rigid genre boundaries and aims to enrich Leipzig's nightlife culture with a multifaceted, curated club night. The series was initiated by Jörg Blumenstein, known for Idioteque - A Radiohead Party, Such Great Heights Party and Knüpfi, active at Schwarzes Leipzig tanzt, Darkflower Noire, Vanity Noire and WWWY 2026, among others. For years, both DJs have stood for musical expertise, stylistic openness and a passionate exploration of alternative, dark pop and subculture. With EXIT MUSIC, they are creating a new musical space that combines different trends: Indie, post-punk, darkwave, alternative, art pop, electronic influences and other varieties of modern dark music merge into a dynamic overall concept. Classics meet current releases, scene anthems meet hidden gems.
