Wucan

Wucan stands for powerful heavy flute rock that combines influences from hard rock, psychedelic rock, blues, folk and krautrock to create a unique sound. The band's trademarks are psychedelic guitar riffs, progressive song structures and the distinctive flute playing of frontwoman Francis Tobolsky.

The band first attracted international attention with their strictly limited vinyl EP "Vikarma", which quickly sold out. Festival appearances, including at the Hammer of Doom, and tours with Swedish blues rockers Siena Root cemented their reputation as an explosive and passionate live band.

With their debut album "Sow The Wind", Wucan finally made the breakthrough from insider tip to celebrated newcomer on the rock scene. Epic songs such as the 16-minute "Wandersmann" combine heavy rock, folk and krautrock with philosophical influences from the Bhagavad Gita.

Today, Wucan stands for energetic, authentic rock with character - powerful, experimental and unmistakable.
