Fabiano do Nascimento is a Rio de Janeiro-born guitarist, composer, arranger and producer who lives between Los Angeles and Tokyo. His music combines floating harmonies, complex guitar structures and subtle rhythms to create a fine, breathing web of sound. Rooted in Brazilian jazz and inspired by Afro-Samba and Choro, he opens his music towards American jazz, electronic sound art and orchestral textures. The result is a wide, flowing sound that is both introspective and lively.

This complexity has led to collaborations with artists such as Airto Moreira, Arthur Verocai, Sam Gendel, Beirut, Aloe Blacc and Daniel Santiago. Growing up in a musical family - his great-grandfather Ladario Teixeira was a blind saxophone virtuoso - Fabiano found his way to the guitar at an early age and learned under the guidance of his uncle Lucio Nascimento, a bassist and arranger.

In 2001, he moved to Los Angeles, where he first made a name for himself with the Latin jazz group Triorganico before embarking on an independent solo career. His nine albums have been released on labels such as Now-Again Records, Far Out Recordings, Leaving Records and Real World Records, and have been featured on NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts, among others.

As an international live musician, Fabiano has toured North America, Asia and Europe; his first European tour in 2024 was marked by sold-out concerts, including an acclaimed performance at the ICA in London. With a sound that mediates between tradition and modernity, Fabiano do Nascimento has developed an unmistakable musical signature - clear, open and deeply rooted in the Brazilian sound world.
