In our city, many bicycle couriers and vans are on the road every day to deliver goods. But will there be self-driving vehicles taking over this job in the future? What role will technology play in this and what will our everyday lives look like with autonomous vehicles?
In this format, you can try it out for yourself: Interact with our Ozobots and Lego WeDos - these are robots - and learn how to control them. You will draw a course with pens and program the Ozobots to follow your route. You can build your own visions of mobility with Lego and then program them with the help of the WeDos. This is a fun way to explore the mobility of the future and discover what you think about autonomous driving.
The drop-in format is open and differs from traditional workshops. We plan for you to spend around 20 minutes in the lab to get your first taste of the technology and the topic of the future. If it is particularly busy, it is possible that not all participants will be able to try out all the stations. So be flexible and take the opportunity to get involved in the exciting topics!
The drop-in format takes place as an "open Roberta project" in cooperation with the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung e.V. for its Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems IAIS.
