Family Open Lab – Zukunftslabor Quanten

What can be in many places at the same time and simply walk through walls? It sounds like magic, but it's actually physics. Welcome to the crazy world of quanta! There is already more quantum physics in our everyday lives than we realize, and quantum technology could fundamentally change the way we communicate, research and solve problems in the future.

At our Futurium Lab, you can immerse yourself in quantum physics in a playful way at interactive stations. With puzzles, games and short explanatory videos, phenomena and technologies become tangible and their significance for our society can be experienced. In the end, you will realize that quanta may not be as far away as you thought.

Our mentors will guide you through the stations and answer your questions.

The drop-in format is open and differs from traditional workshops. You will spend around 20 minutes in the Futurium Lab to get your first taste of the technology and the topic of the future. If it is particularly busy, it is possible that not all participants will be able to try out all the stations. So be flexible and take the opportunity to get involved in the exciting topics!
