Music that feels as if we are sitting very close to its author the whole time. Music that takes hold immediately. First take, yes, staging, no. The Frankfurt native returns as FEE PENAFIEL and with a new album: "Die Wolken über uns" - September 2026. Her mix - remains: Indie pop, singer-songwriter, honest lyrics, real stories.

After her last album "Nachtluft" in 2020, life may have taken on new strings, but she remained unwaveringly true to her strong roots. Just as the strings of her flea market guitar remain true to her - which she has never changed and with which she still prefers to start her songs on the edge of her bed. The basic musical confidence - from her childhood. The earliest musical experience she remembers is a dense image: squeezing into a much too narrow armchair with her sister, listening to her mother sitting by the fire playing the acoustic guitar.

So let's go again, there must be room for the songs everywhere. And they must be allowed to say everything and feel everything. FEE PENAFIEL writes about everything that moves her. With a captivating mixture of melancholy and optimism at the same time. She writes about real stories and emotions, about herself and about others. Her gift? To package difficult topics in such a way that they always contain a ray of hope. She can do that, because she wants to. Unstoppable when it comes to passion. She created this third work entirely on her own, her studio musicians and producers in Augsburg orchestrate the whole thing with vintage finesse. With the necessary tugging here, the heavy pathos there and great organic space in between.
