Punk and hardcore festival with MANDELKOKAINSCHNAPS , KILL HER FIRST, THE RED FLAGS, JAWLESS, DEFIANCE & NOISE FOR THE VOICELESS. The punk and hardcore festival focuses on strong female voices and female-fronted bands and continues to set a self-confident example. Especially in the male-dominated music world, the event series aims to encourage other FLINTA*s and give their stories a stage. And this stage is once again at the legendary SO36. Together with Kreuzberg friends and neighbors Coretex and Iriedaily, the evening will be presented on October 17, 2025.

"Female-Fronted Is Not A Genre" was originally the brainchild of the Berlin band Kill Her First, which was founded in 2007 with an all-female line-up. Although the quintet has undergone numerous line-up changes since then, it has never lost sight of its original message: Inclusivity and diversity in punk and hardcore.
