The association of academic institutions Forum Neuer Markt in the center of Potsdam is organizing the theme year of the "Potsdam Talks" with a view to the end of the war 80 years ago. In eight events, the "pivotal year 1945" will be dealt with in terms of historical classification, the culture of remembrance and the after-effects up to the present day.
