The Finn Seemann Quintet combines the tradition of modern jazz with a contemporary vision based on musical free spirit and virtuoso interplay. Deeply rooted in the aesthetics of greats such as Thelonious Monk, Wayne Shorter, but also contemporaries such as Kurt Rosenwinkel and Pablo Held, the band explores the boundaries of harmony, rhythm and melody. Finn's compositions are captivating in their diversity: sometimes lively and playful, sometimes complex and challenging, always carried by a strong improvisational energy.

The group's sound is enriched by the outstanding musicians Theo Altmann, Daniel Sauer, Lajos Meinberg and Johann Greve, who possess great musical expressiveness and find enough freedom in the pieces to bring in their individual voices. They met while studying music together, where their musical visions and friendships were formed.
The interplay between these talented musicians is characterized by a distinct tonal dynamic and a deep understanding of the subtle balance between composition and spontaneous improvisation, which makes their music lively and always unpredictable.
