Moses Hauert operates in precisely this area of tension.

His photographs are taken where cameras are often unwelcome - in the darkness of Berlin's club culture. Between flashes of light, fog, bodies and movement, he captures fragments of nights that defy any clear narrative.

His pictures are not documentation.
They are memory, atmosphere, feeling.

Between intimacy and ecstasy, closeness and distance, he creates images that suggest more than they show. They play with visibility and concealment - and pose the question: Who owns the moment?
